There are several Physical Fitness programs available to members of our Armed Forces. While deployed you really have to get creative to stay in shape and remain fit. Below are 5 Workouts to become Special Forces fit. First out though I suggest these three basic rules:

1) Pick a workout plan that works for you and stick to it

2) If you find yourself bored with a particular workout try mixing it up, or trying a new workout.

3) Don’t quit working out just because you are bored or have “too much” else to do. Your physical fitness is the key to a long life…that and not eating McDonald’s or MREs every night for a “healthy” dinner

1. The Frontlines Workout Guide

2. Hooah 4 Health

3. CrossFit

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

4. My Pyramid

The Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, an organization of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, was established in 1994 to improve the nutrition and well-being of Americans.

5. Get Fit

TRICARE’s Get Fit Program gives information for the entire military family and has programs available for children.
